YKI Trainer is an AI-powered Finnish language learning platform that helps users prepare for the YKI (Yleinen kielitutkinto) exam. The Service provides:

• AI-generated reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises
• Personalized learning plans and assessments
• Exam simulations matching the YKI format
• Progress tracking and feedback

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

When using our Service, you agree NOT to:

• Share accounts: Each account is for a single user only. Sharing login credentials with others is prohibited.
• Use automated access: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access the Service is strictly forbidden.
• Circumvent limitations: Attempting to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or other restrictions is prohibited.
• Resell or redistribute: You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission.
• Abuse AI features: Using the AI to generate harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content is prohibited.
• Interfere with the Service: Any action that disrupts, damages, or impairs the Service or its infrastructure is forbidden.
• Violate laws: Using the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws is prohibited.

4.1 Fair Use Limits

To ensure quality for all users, the following limits apply:

• Maximum 200 exercises per day
• Maximum 60 minutes of AI conversation per day
• Maximum 50 writing evaluations per day

We reserve the right to limit access for users who significantly exceed normal usage patterns.

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 Fair Use Policy

The Service uses AI to generate educational content. This content is intended solely for personal language learning purposes. You may not:

• Use AI-generated content for commercial purposes
• Republish or redistribute AI-generated content
• Claim AI-generated content as your own original work
• Use the Service to generate content unrelated to Finnish language learning

5.2 Content Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. The Service is a learning tool and should not be considered a definitive source for the Finnish language or YKI exam requirements.

6. Subscription and Payments

6.1 Subscription Plans

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Features and usage limits vary by plan.

6.2 Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable taxes.

6.3 Refunds

Lifetime access purchases include a 7-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, contact us at support@email.ykitrainer.fi within 7 days of purchase.

6.4 Lifetime Access

"Lifetime access" means access to the Service for the operational lifetime of YKI Trainer, not the lifetime of the subscriber. If the Service is discontinued, lifetime subscribers will receive either:

• (a) Pro-rata refund based on a 24-month service period, or
• (b) Equivalent access to a successor service, at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its design, code, features, and original content, is owned by YKI Trainer. All rights are reserved.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (e.g., writing submissions, recordings). By using the Service, you grant us a license to process this content to provide the Service.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Your account is used for illegal activities
• We are required to do so by law

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YKI Trainer shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• Content generated by AI that is inaccurate or inappropriate

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will:

• Be uninterrupted or error-free
• Meet your specific requirements
• Guarantee success in the YKI exam

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland, unless otherwise required by EU consumer protection law.

We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
